Just added some great photos from the Grenoble Region. Those photos also include a train ride on the Chemin de Fer de la Mure.

Added 7 amazing In Flight photos taken in 2010 on an international flight from the US to France after the Iceland Volcano eruption.

Also added 7 photos of Versailles from that same trip.

All photos now have tags associated with them, and I have added a search bar to the website, so all the photos can now be searched for tags or keywords. The search bar is located at the bottom of each page. Clicking on a photo's tag will query the entire for that tag and display the results.

I recently managed to integrate Facebook comments into individual photo pages and albums. You can now post comments and "likes" on the photos or albums that you like.

I did however just fix an issue with this, so if you recently posted a comment or Like on an ALBUM, I'm sad (and apologize) that your feedback may have been lost. Please feel free to comment or Like them once more if you're up to it. Everything appears fixed now!

The standard photo album for Korea has been created. There are 40 photos in this album for you to enjoy.

I have created a new page to document all the features that this site offers when viewing photos or navigating the site. There are even some new features that you may not be aware of listed. Take a look at the About Page!

Added 3 new photos to the Shanghai Panoramic album. The first photo is part of my Shanghai weather series, and the other 2 are taken the eve of the recent Chinese New Year from the historic Bund area.

Just added an album with some old photos from a trip to Paris a few years ago. The panoramic photos for that trip have been up a long time in this album, but the standard photos have been places in this Paris album.

Added 2 albums from a trip to Washington DC in late October of 2010. One album is for panoramic photos which includes one special photo from a certain Rally. The other album contains some standard photos of various monuments.

The JovianArts.com website now has a News section where you can read all about the latest photos posted. I plan to mention updates to the site, post links to the latest photos, and on occasion reference other news posts that relate to each other.

Since the News section is new, I'm going to post-date some of the new posts to correctly reflect some recent previous changes.

I have also just posted 6 new Shanghai Photos that I had taken of the last few months. Shanghai skies had been particularly photogenic and couldn't resist taking some photos. Here is a link to the beginning of the latest Shanghai photos.

It took some doing but I was finally able to code fetching my Instagram photos and display them here. Check out the new Instagram. If you don't know about Instagram, there is a link to it from my Instagram page. Click on any of the photos to view them in full size. I only recently started using Instagram since July 2011.

Added a new album from ZhuJiaJiao, which is a watertown on the west side of Shanghai.

Added 2 new panoramic albums! One for a trip to Korea in Oct 2011 and another for a trip to Beijing in Nov 2011. Enjoy the new albums, and make sure you use the new scrolling feature talked about in the New Look.

I finally just finshed updating the look of the site. The overall structure is about the same, but I updated some of the cosmetic background images and layout.

The most major change has to do with the way actual photos are now being shown. Panoramic photos are no longer being shrunk to fit the width of your browser. Instead, they now have a fixed height, and there will now be a horizontal scrollbar to allow you to scroll around the entire photo, if it's too wide to fit. I feel this looks better and feels much better to interact with. You can still click on any photo itself to view it in full size. Standard photos now also have a fixed height for consistency with the panoramic photos.

There are now also some previous/next buttons on each side of the photos. This is especially helpful when scrolling through a long panoramic photo, and wish to view the next one.
